Seasonal Personalized Cuisine
Helping Los Angeles eat their vegetables
From local farms to your table
Welcome to a new improved lifestyle for you! Here’s how it works. Jennie will shop the local Farmers Markets every Saturday and Sunday, and the chefs will start cooking. Your freshly prepared local food will be delivered on Mondays. (The best farmer’s markets are on the weekend around here). All the items on the menu will be brought to you, ready to create 3 – to 5 delicious healthy meals. But before any of that happens, you’ll answer a few questions about how you’re eating now, and how you would like that to improve. If you have dietary requests, the menus will be tailored specifically for your enjoyment. Arrangements for delivery must be made prior to the first delivery. All foods will come labeled, dated and in reusable containers. A printed menu will come with each order with four suggested menus from the weekly menu items. Amounts are portioned for 1- 3 people depending on appetites. Family plans and additional food available.
I’ll supply:
6 fresh fruit / vegetable selections from the local farmers Markets
1 organic chicken entree
1 beef, lamb, turkey or pork entree
A nice Marinara for pizza or pasta or similar alternative like a soup or stew
Rice, Legume or Whole Grain Side
The meats will be pastured and the vegetables will come from the local Farmers Markets. I’ll always cook with olive oil. Small amounts. All food will be labeled, and ingredients will be listed on the weekly menu. I’ll avoid refined sugars and starches and get as much organic product as possible. Meats will be prepared starting with a pound of meat; you’ll get between 2 and 3 pounds a week. Re-heat food in a toaster oven for the best flavor, but a microwave would work too. Freezing is an option. Feel free to mix and match your selections, and I’ll send along a list of suggested menus every week for inspiration. I won’t send the pasta or pizza dough, salad greens, or refined carbs. But feel free to incorporate as you wish.

“We’re enjoying it enormously! Love all the tasty vegetables and the variety in entrees. Some favorites over the last two weeks were the meat loaf, the roasted chicken, the sangria beef, the sausage and peppers, the apples, and the carrot soup.”

Just Mark and I, mainly need food to eat during the day while working, and stuff to pack for lunches. Easy. Meat OK. Very chubby, so healthy is good. Our house is at 1570 Poppy Peak Drive, Pasadena, CA 91105. Looking forward to your fabulous cooking again. xo B.
This sounds great! What’s the intake questionnaire? Could you send me one?
